Governor Martinez Loves Dogs
Today I had the privilege of meeting New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez. Governor Martinez is cool, she signed into law Senate Bill 11, in front of dogs and dog owners; a law allowing dogs onto restaurant patios.
Max and Catherine Coll were there with their little Scottie and monster Russian Wolf Hound. I brought my mom’s dog Mr. Mopper. Senator Peter Wirth, who sponsored the bill, was also hanging out with his Labrador. Governor Martinez showed off her two fine pups.
Luckily there were no dog fights, but you could tell security was real nervous about things going to the dogs.
Santa Fe is so fun, go to lunch Friday afternoon, hang out with the Guv and your dog, a watch dog rights being signed into New Mexico law. What next?
